This is my first post, I've known about most of the PUA sites and such before hand, however, just recently found out about this forum. I figured it was a good place to tell my story and get some advice because I'm kind of stuck and don't know what to do and would like some criticism or advice. Anyway's here's my story.

About 4 months ago I was seeing this one girl we'll call her "Blondie". She and I never really went anywhere, we just had a thing for a while then it ended and we stay friends (however, we fuck fairly often). A few days after we ended whatever it was we had my friend who we'll call "Cheerleader" texted me and after like a fluke conversation we ended up going to a pub where all my friends were at. The next night I invited her out to a party at my friends house where we fucked and I took her home. However, the problem is we we're both drunk. We've had sex a few more times since, but, every time alcohol is involved. I've never really hung out with her much outside of a drinking situation.

Let me tell you a bit about her. She's a cheerleader (as you probably guessed from the name) for the football team here, she's probably the hottest girl I've ever met, she's smart, and has her priorities in life straight. When I tell you she's hot I mean it. Walking down the street I can see everyone's eyes checking her out.

Anyways, I like this girl and want to progress into something more. But I had this problem with Blondie where I think I moved too fast and it scared her away. Now Cheerleader recently broke up with her Ex a couple of months ago, however, I know he wants to get back together with her.

This past weekend I had Cheerleader over, we drank a bit and went to a club downtown. Well her ex ended up being there (I knew he was going to be there I didn't think it was a big deal), however, as soon as she saw him she left to go see him, ended up dancing with him and spent a long amount of time with him. Now, I played it off cool (or at least I thought I did). I didn't see her for the next hour I was in the club, and I didn't make a big deal out of it. My other friends and I had plans on leaving to go to a different club to see one of our favourite DJ's. So I left and went with them and we went to another club. About 2 hours after I last saw her I got a phone call from her which I didn't answer because I was on the dance floor.

Anyways, I'll skip through the night I ended up getting home at around 5am, and I knew she had to come back to my place because she had left all her stuff here and the plan was originally for her to sleep over.

So she ended up coming over. Now, me being the asshole I am (or pretend to be) was texting Blondie for a good hour while Cheerleader was at my house. Talking about sex, and how she should be at my house. Making sure that Cheerleader could read my messages. Eventually she took my phone threw it and we had sex.

I don't know what to think of this. I don't know how to deal with her ex. I don't wanna make a big deal out of it. She was pretty drunk when we first went to the club. In the morning she seemed upset that she even mentioned her ex to me. I want to progress with this girl and actually start dating her. But I don't know how to go about it. I want to take it slow, but, I also have to be careful of her ex.

I am too worried now to try and take this next step.

A little bit of backstory though, every time she's drunk she asks me what I think of her, and I always tell her to ask me when she's sober because she'll never get an answer from me. I rarely compliment her because I know every other guy does that already and I want her to realize I'm interested but, not that I am going to be there no matter what. I've been played plenty times before that it doesn't happen for me anymore.

Anyways, I know this sounds a bit crazy haha, but if anyone has any advice that'd be greatly appreciated.

Ugh...okay, I'm gonna highlight somethin. Leaving your phone out with the specific goal of Cheerleader reading your messages was just silly.

The girl is into you. There is no concern over the ex. She spent one night hangin with him AND THEN WENT TO YOUR PLACE!!!! There is no threat from him. The only threat is that you let petty jealousy and insecurity change what you've been doing so far. You're fine, dont worry.

Yeah, I realize what I did with my phone was pretty stupid.

I get affected by my friends a lot who criticize every thing I do. I never heard the end of it when they found out I left her with her ex. I guess that's why I made it a big deal.

However, it seemed to be the reason we went to that club was because her ex was there. But, yeah, I was jealous so you're right.

Edit: I forgot to mention she told me her ex wants to get back with her but she doesn't know yet.

I dont know if I'm making too big a deal of this or not.
