Hey guys! Like everyone else on here I'm really trying to strengthen my game. So here's an issue I've been having with Cat String Theory: last night I was talking to girl (who I wasn't really interested in) and basically I think I played way to hard to get. I told her, "Too bad ur not my type, we'd never get along - were too similar." basically I over negged her. I also said, basically girls want me for my looks not my personality - that's why I deny them (I sorta made that routine up). So basically I suppose she just stopped talking after that and probably lost interest I might hv accidentally came across as snobby or possible mean.

But the thing is: How do I basically balance this out. So that I'm not too easy and not too hard to get. What's the perfect balance to be at? Can you guys give me like a blueprint for this - how do I balance between the two.

Get real kid, she's not into you enough for you to go ghost and her to pursue. I don't care how many IOIs she gave. GIrls often give IOIs to get a guy to pursue so they can feel validated, nothing more, nothing less. Get her to invest more, not by going cold but by demonstrating value. Hey, here's an idea how about being authentic for once instead of relying on these whacked-out borderline creeper PUA techniques you read in an ebook?

You did overneg. You have to make her feel validated, but you must still also keep her on edge. You only really need one or two negs unless the girl has an extremely strong bitch shield. After that you can be playful with her, but be easy with the putdowns.

Cat string theory is about getting her to jump through your hoops
while her still tugging on the hooking points in order to get her
to invest in you. If you show too much attention towards her
than that's why you're failing. In order for CST to work
it has to play out that you make her jump through
your hoops, get her invested, interested and
attracted all the while as you don't seem
to really care too much about it. Like,
why does she deserve your
attention? What makes her
different from the other girls?
Why should you spend her time investing
in her and not vice versa for other etectera?
Girls do the EXACT same thing. Once you
flip the tables then they know you're
not like other guys and you
show that alpha male dominance
and confidence...that's when the
attraction sparks and she starts
investing in that spark. Coming off as
arrogant, confident and alpha is very attractive.

Now back to the theory.

Think of it like this: If you
get a feather for a cat and you dangle it
just above it's head and out of it's grasp
it's going to battle to get that feather, right?
But if you dangle the feather, then
just let it drop at the cats feet,
that cat is no longer interested
because it's not fun anymore.

much it just shows that you don't respect her enough

In order to combat this you should neg, then after
a while make her jump through a hoop in a compliance
test...then REWARD her for that compliance. Why were
you negging her for good compliance? If she was into
you, that's an IOI and she was initially investing in
you and you got pre-selected
because of that...but you then reward her
compliance with more negs? That's losing the plot
altogether brother!

I'd say go back to basics and read over
Magic Bullets or the MM again, and mainly,
cut down on the negging and learn to
compliment women by rewarding
their compliance. A simple "Wow,
thank you You can now wear my hat"
is sufficient for inDirect game man...
