So I've been seeing this waitress for about 3-4 weeks. Then her and her boyfriend went to California for spring break. When she got back I hit her up and asked how her trip was and she was short texting me real bad, one word yes/no/good/OK answers. Well I went and ate lunch at the restaurant she works at. Well I had a different waitress and she didn't come by. So I just kinda ignored her. About and hour after I left I got a text. "U couldn't say hi?!?!" Well I guess she isn't done with me after all. I think I played my cards wrong too. I apologized and explained that she seemed busy. I said she was short with me and her California trip seemed to rekindle some feelings for her boyfriend and I was just being respectful of that. She simply said "it's cool" and I've never heard back.

Should I still believe we're done? Why would she text me to say that? She was obviously perturbed, but why wait an hour later? Why didn't she come say hi herself? She wasn't really all that busy, I saw her talking to the other wait staff a few times. I'm of course still gaming and fucking other girls. But it would be nice to get an outside opinion on this.

You did the right thing by absolutely ignoring her because she was being cold with you. She only texted you because she wants you to chase after her and give her the attention she needs in case things don't go well with her bf. Move on buddy and forget about the whole thing, don't overthink it because if you want the truth, she'd already made up her mind about the two of you the minute she went on holiday with her bf.

Wait 48 hours, send a random text from out of left field - build a role play scenario if she reponds. Use time differentials when responding... If she responds in 5 minutes, you wait 10. If she repsonds in 30, you wait 45. This builds the illusion you don't text often, and she has to wait on you - which makes her realize you have more important shit to do than to keep 'friending' some random chick.
