I've made a thread recently about a girl at the local gas station that I think is gorgeous so if you want the full story have a look at it.

We have chatted a few times and she's really nice. We have a good laugh with each other and she always shouts "see you later" as I'm leaving. The last 2 times I left the gas station she has waved to me as I drove past the window. We have had a few nice "eye contact" moments whilst giving me a nice smile. Now that I'm typing this it sounds like she likes me. But what do you guys think? What other signs should I look for?

Also I've heard about ioi's. What are they?

Well tbh the only reason I'm on this forum is because I don't really pick up on flirting or signs and often need help with them, I usually pass it off as her just being friendly, hence why I asked how do you know if a girl likes you? I'm only asking do these sound like obvious signs and what else should I be looking out for.

Also I should add that she seems quite a shy girl.

You may not have a lot of time to see a lot/any of those in that setting but that should be a pretty good start.

I wrote a still going 16 page thread on body language. It is pretty full of info. Attraction in body language is very simple but there is still a bit to it.

The short of it is preens, submissive signals, touch, distance, torso, foot, eye contact, etc. They all happen through out different phases in courtship. You need to understand the guidelines to body language as well.

by the sounds of it, I would say she likes you, now you have to figure out if she is available to you,

just ask her out, outside of gas pumping, just tell her you think she is attractive in some shape or form and want to hang out with her some time, see what she says, compliance = more reliable then ioi's, a girl could be straight stone cold on you, but still be up for sex with you, don't judge based on ioi's, see what sort of compliance she gives

best way to find out if a girl will have sex with you, is to try to have sex with her

from what i understand from you, i think you are good to go for asking her number and setting a date, better be an activity you both could enjoy (ice skating is a good one)

my advice start by asking her opinion in doing some activity before asking for the number (give her a reason to give your number), and don't just take the number then leave, spend at least 5 more minutes with her after getting the number, it will show that you are not needy with the number

Next time you go, make the light conversation you usually do. Explain to her an activity you may be doing tonight (make it interesting but not long in case somebody may be in the queue behind you) and TELL her she should get involved.

If worse case scenario she says she can't, be completely unaffected. Still fill up at the same station and who knows maybe she might tell you what she's doing tonight

Thanks for the advice guys. I'm going back there tomorrow to see her and hopefully ask her out (if I don't chicken out that is!) I'm fairly certain she likes me as she never seems as friendly or as chatty with anyone else that she serves. I mean how many girls at gas stations wave goodbye to their customers? Only one way to find out I suppose. Wish me luck!!
