You don't learn easily do you Thug? Or is it that you don't know what "respect" is?

You have NO room to be speaking for Zip. You don't even know her. Now, show some RESPECT, or shut your mouth.

We will be back on topic once you drop this petty crap Thug.

Thugie, darling, you can help me too and get back on topic. I do enjoy hearing about my fine ass, and I do have a love for a brother, but all that is moot. You want to game the girls on here, make your own topic.

This goes to everyone: any more of these shenanigans, however delightful, I'll delete them or move them.

Now, let's get back to the topic. :)

Going back to the elevator pick-up; The psychology makes total sense.

I'm no psychologist, but one thing I have noticed, though, is there seems
to be this window of opportunity when in an elevator. It is when the door
is open.

Doesn't it seem like people are a little more open then? Someone asks
you which floor you're on so he/she can push the button... or some
friends are talking as they walk into the elevator.

It may be a defense mechanism, but when I'm inside and the door opens,
my eye automatically draws to who is coming in. Eye contact is made.

If you are going to open, I say do it when the door is open, preferably
when YOU first step in. Kind of like the 3-second rule.

This is Zip's perspective thread, so I guess I'll ask a question.

You mentioned in one of your earlier posts that your clients are not
PUA's and that you open the sets. It seems like a very lucrative
business, so more power to you, but I have to ask.

Are you planning on instructing your clients on opening or the process
of pick-up or do you actively do this already? Why or why not?

Or, I guess I should ask, What tools do you give guys that allows
them to succeed when you are not around and they are out on
their own?

Well, seeing as how she's a busy gal, normally we limit people to one question . . . but since we like you and you're in good standing, I guess we could make an exception and let you ask all three questions . . . lol

I'm failing to see how "spacing" would affect your game in any way. If I'm pressed up against my target in the back of an elevator, I'll toss out a cute situational opener. If I'm on the other side of the bar from her, I need to walk _into_ her space to open. There is absolutely no difference, here.

Whether or not the psychology is sound, it should have absolutely no affect on how you "spit game." If everyone else is standing half-an-elevator apart from one another, be the exception to the rule and start talking to a stranger. If everyone is talking to everyone else, be the exception to the rule and start talking to a stranger.

Also, in regards to the aptly re-named "Thuggie": The guy's a troll. Just ignore him, and he'll go away.

Zip, I was browsing through this post earlier, and remember you saying something about the PU movement changing the world. I have always thought this, my main reason being that it creates opportunity where there was none before. Where once frustrated men would just wish and think about talking to a woman, and now they learn how-to approach/get over/conquer their fear of initiating contact, therein creating new opportunities that would have otherwise never existed (or have been acted on). Not to mention, as you put it, PU leaks over into other aspects of your life. In what other ways, or in more detail, how do you think the PU movement will change the world?

Interesting point about the window of opportunity in an elevator. I suppose if you follow a "three second rule" and open as soon as possible, when the door is closed, you can continue the conversation. Thinking about it hypothetically, I suppose I would be more closed-off if a guy breeched me after the door was shut. I'd think that this guy was trying to calculate what to say instead of just flowing. These are things to think about.

We've had a lot of discussion about elevators. Whatever your perspective, I think it can be agreed that gaming in an elevator is like a crucible. However, only the strong survive, so if you want some work on AA, an elevator seems to be an intense option.

To answer your questions: I joined the community so I could start teaching my clients about PU. I have not specifically worked on it with clients as of yet, but once I feel like I know what I'm talking about...I plan to add this as a service. I forget if it was Doc or Starbuck who related it to the old quotation about teaching a man how to fish... I forget how it goes. I've been catching fish for guys for too long. I want to help them build a friggin pole and learn how to reel 'em in on their own.

As far as tools I've given my clients in the past... mostly worked with them on image, conversational skills, etiquette, social expectations, etc. This was without knowledge of the PU lexicon. Like I said, once I feel like I'm at a comfortable place with all the different methodologies, I'll offer it to the guys I work for. Plus, I'll get to raise my salary ;)

A raise in the salary is always a good thing.
