I was planning to ask this girl to prom, problem is... she already has a date. I gamed her, she was responsive, and I set up a day two. Day two is a movie and bowling and she loves magic tricks.

You could set up a date for right AFTER prom (is there in after party you could invite her but not her date to?). If her date is beta, he'll be unlikely to win her over at prom.

- If her date is alpha, more specifically you think he might hook up / f-close with her at/after prom (or on a date before it), game her hard now and try to get her really into you (hook-up / f-close.) Even if she still goes to prom w/ him it may be out of obligation (i.e. fear of losing social circle status for breaking a prom date) and he'll have no chance.

- If her date is beta, you can better afford to just build some tension by then, but I would still try to make 'afterparty' plans with her.

- If she's not your prom date by then, and does go with another guy, the absolute BEST thing you can do to win her is have a hotter prom date. Then use the prom to induce jealousy. (Even if you don't have such a date, try to dance with hotter girls, make them laugh etc. and let this girl see it.) I had 3 dates to my senior prom, i.e. it was me + my official date + 2 other girls who were into me in my car and rolling up / leaving together. After I dropped off my official date I got a BJ from one of the other two. (In hindsight I wish I'd gone for a 3 or 4 way, but I was more of a sneaky beta type then.) Morale: if you can score another date, and THEN get this girl to agree to be your prom date...pick them both up and take them to prom! Since this girl changed her mind on such short notice you have a great reason for taking 2 girls.

First figure out who her date to the prom is and what the relationship status between the two of them is. If he's a good friend of her it's gonna be hard. If her date to the prom is an actually date between the two of them, then convince her that you are a better date to the prom than him by showing her what a great guy you are during your day 2. During the day 2 when things are going well, tell her that you would be a great date to her prom and that she should go with you (dont ask her, tell her). Do it in a comforting way and be sure to do it when things are going smooth between the 2 of ya.

So if they are close friends, just leave them be?

No matter who they are, leave them be until after prom. What you're trying to do is called drama. Don't start prom drama.

Live your life until prom, let her live hers. After all the prom fun is over, then try for her. Or if you're going to a party after prom, those can be good times for hook ups.
