I'll buy a girl a drink if I think the situation will actually go somewhere, but I don't want to be used by some skank who just wants free drinks. If a girl says, "buy me a drink first." what would you do? Or better yet, how would you get her to buy YOU a drink instead.

Tell her the money for the drink is in your front middle pocket...( if she goes for it and gives ya a quick grope, buy her the drink). Then work on taking her home.

Depending on how hot she is will depend on my response, but generally I would make them work for a drink if I buy them one at all.

You could always trick her, tell her ok I will buy you a drink IF you pass my test. Tell her to stand in a spot, imagine a 3 ft circle around her, tell her that the challenge is for her to remain in the "imaginary circle" while you do 3 laps around her, if she can stay in the circle you will buy her that drink. But if she moves out of the circle before you go around her three times, she either has to buy you a drink or she's gotta give you a nice long kiss. Get her to ask you questions, challenge her fortitude, tell her you will not touch her or even look at her as you do your 3 laps around her. Get her thinking there is no way she is moving out of the spot.

Once it's a go, start to walk around her, acknowledge each lap, say " ok there's one" ok that's two. get half way through the third lap then stop......walk a few steps away and smile. Tell her what you are drinking. Odd's are she will be too stubborn to acknowledge the loss, and she will come give you a kiss rather then buy you the drink. If the kiss is worthy, and you felt sparks, then be a nice guy and buy her a drink anyways. ( at least she had to work for it)

Be sure to play it up, before you start, say only a few select people have been able to win this challenge. Do you think you have it in you? etc etc.

All along you should be able to get sufficient reads from this woman and dictate whether she has a genuine interest in you.

You never have to buy a girl a drink. You don't exchange a beverage for sexual favours. Sex is already the mutual exchange of orgasms. Giving drinks upsets the social and financial equilibrium of the interaction.

They sometimes need an excuse (I only slept with him because I was drunk)

Scares them (could be spiked)
Sometimes they feel like, now they owe you.
