someone that was taller than you and not just by an inch lets say abotu 5-6 inches

I'm 5'11" and briefly dated a girl who was 6'3".

I have dated tall girls but one never taller than me.

I pretty much only date tall girls, but none will ever be taller than me given that I'm 6'4". If I dated anyone shorter than like 5'8", I'd look like a pedophile. All the short people here will jump on my ass and flame me when I say this, but make no mistake: women prefer to date guys who are taller than they are.

Completely agree! I'm 6ft2 and my current gf is about 6ft with her heals on. I find being able to kiss a girl comfortably while standing up is very attractive!

Plus I broke my back a few years ago so I dont want to be hunched over while chatting to some 5ft girl

Snarg, I'm not going to jump up and down, and I do believe there is some truth to what you say...I think girls in their minds, ideally, think of their "man" being taller than them, but I have broke this barrier so many times for me to even count, and some bizarre scenarios too.

First, I'm 5'9", just about, but I have a medium build, which I think helps me out little...I appear a little taller than I am to people (I'm never going to be confused for being 6 feet though ), someoene shorter than me might think I'm 5' 10" and I'm not close to that. There's a guy in my office, where the same height and for whatever reason, I look taller than him. My boss, who's like 6'2" thought for sure I was taller, until we stood next to each other.

My ex-wife, who was used to dating taller men, had a 1/2 inch or close to an inch on me. She adored me (while we were married). My height was never an issue with her, she thought I was cute and very handsome and that's all that mattered.

It wasn't just my ex-wife, I dated a slew of girls older than me, one I quite frankly didn't understand - she also was completely infatuated with me and I'll be honest, I didn't get it. This one was at least 6' 1" and used to play volleyball - she was a tall, very athletic built chick!-Like an amazon! Why she liked me so much, I have no idea. I mean, I even would say to myself while we were having sex, "there's no way this girl can be into this." BUT SHE WAS?!?!?!?! I even I was shocked. It took me a long time to get her to stop stalking me?!?!?!

I guess I never really thought of my height as an issue, and maybe that comes off?? I don't know. If a girl is that hung up on height, its probably someone I wouldn't want to date anyway....(I'd also probably wouldn't have a shot anyway... )
