I've been a long-time lurker, but this is my first post. I've been talking to this girl who has a BF, and we constantly flirt, tease, etc. She seems to be good with shit testing me and neg'ing me back. What would you have said differently in this conversation via text? Is it okay to tease her negatively about her looks like I did, or should I have framed it to say something about her is beautiful instead?

me: (texts her picture of ducks waddling. she loves animals)

her:OMG They're funny! Glad to know I look like a duck. My BF tells me I have huge feet so maybe thats the resemblence

me: Only I'm allowed to pick on you. Don't worry, your hair distracts me from your feet

her:keep talking toad (inside joke)

me: You love it. I called you princess earlier, that makes up for it. Alright - meeting in a few. tty tomorrow.

This is stupid. She has a boyfriend and mentioned him here. Clearly she isn't interested, why are you deluding yourself?

Just gonna back up what Slip n Slide said.
She mentioned her boyfriend when talking to you, that means two things.

A. She knows you're trying to hit on her
B. She want to make sure you're aware she has a boyfriend.

She'll allow inside jokes and playful compliments all day long, but at the end of the day it's going no-where right now.

I would say talk to her a little less and keep up playful flirting when you see her, it makes you an option to her if she ever breaks up with her bf.

yougotfitched I hope this doesn't discourage you from posting in future but what you just got here was a reality check. Which meant you learnt something today. Which means you just got a little better.

The more reality checks you get the faster your game will develop, so keep posting and embrace the criticism you receive because you wont get a more honest answer/opinion that you will by posting on an internet forum full of strangers. Serious. Your friends wont tell you what you need to hear but we will.

Look at it this way: you got some great experiencing with flirting, negs & such with this gal. Now go out and use it to find one that doesn't have a boyfriend, you're already one step ahead of all the other AFCs.
