how does attraction build gradually from a guys point of view. i know a girl, she was alright, 7-8ish. i got to know her..mates said she is so hot..then suddenly, she's a 10. why does this happen? now that i think about it..its so rare ive ever experienced strong attraction at first sight..usually builds up after getting to know

If a girl is in "high demand" attraction will automatically spike in the eyes of another guy. This holds more true from the female perspective towards men, but essentially it comes down to the chase..we all love it and when something is harder to attain we tend to want it more. Make sense? Good.

I agree on what you're saying. I've noticed myself that I can be extremely attracted to a woman at a club, but only when I get to know her a little better (not too much though) do I get REALLY attracted to her and realize that the attraction I had in the beginning is barely comparable to what I have now.

I guess that even if we guys are horny little rabbits, looks aren't all that matters in the sexual attraction of the opposite sex.

Speaking obviously about one night stands and other interactions which aren't longterm that could have this effect on you (because it's pretty obvious that for the longterm ones, personality matters even more than looks in whichever case).

Happens quite often with me. Don't know why but I noticed it and learned to readjust my scale because of it.
