being fat raises estrogen levels,
eating fat actually increases testosterone levels. Testosterone is actually derived from cholesterol. Eating a certain amount of fat (or oil, which is plant fat) is good for you. Also, if you're not too overweight you should cut fat slowly if you can. Losing a lot of weight quickly increases estrogen levels. You're better off avoiding complex carbs and large amounts of sugar, eating lots of protein and some fat (don't get carried away, but fat is not the poison it's made out to be).
The basic high protein, low carb diet is not a fad diet I'm recommending. Bodybuilders have been eating like that since before Arnold Schwarzenneger. Even if it doesn't help your voice, it will certainly increase your testosterone and benefit you in many ways.
