some chick flaked on me so i gave her space then sent her a fun random message a few days later, she responded saying yeah coffe another time. 2 days later i messaged her inviting her to come shopping with me to a dress-up party and she instantly responded with done!

i sent her 3 more texts with no response. 1 that night saying cool see u in a few days, the next night saying meet up tomorrow around 1pm and a last one the day after that we were meant to meet saying i guess you arent coming(probably a bad move).

4 days later i get a message from her saying

"I'm a shit friend hey?" (she's now flaked twice)

wasnt sure how to respond so i did the next day saying yeah me and my friend had a great time costume shopping you missed out. denim on denim has never looked so good!

also what do u think she is getting at with this type of test?

i guess i was trying to convey that i can have fun without her/it didnt stop me from doing my thing.

that was this morning. still no response. if she doesnt respond how should i go about re-initiation contact? i figure i'll probably wait another day or 2

Lose her. Girls that flake that strongly and that often aren't worth the stress you'll put yourself through. Every time she flakes on a meeting or fails to answer an inquiring text, she is flat out disrespecting you. You wouldn't put up with that from a close guy friend would you? A high-value male certainly wouldn't. That set is busted. Go out there and open some new ones. You'll respect yourself more for walking away and that my friend, is worth more than any validation a woman can give you. I'm new here, but it seems to be common sense that if a girl flakes on you and you then send her five texts for another get-together, you're going to look a little desperate. Either she was planning on going shopping with you and got scared by the daily texts, or she had no intention of going and was just playing with you. In either case, metaphorically speaking, the well has been poisoned and you should move on to other women.

And when she asked you "I'm a shit friend, huh?" she was really checking to see how much more grief she can give you. If you ask her out again, or even if she asks you out, the only thing you should expect from her is a big fat shit test.

Not much you could differently here. Once she flakes, or doesn't respond that's all it takes. The game is basically over.

Unless it was a legit flake, IE car rolled over on the way or something. 90% of the time they are just not into you or they are too scared to meet. Either way texting her multiple times just lowers your value.

It's a super shit test from a girl that is not interested and wants to see how much she can get away with so that she can determine what she can use you for. Emotional validation, text buddy, I'm bored buddy, blah blah blah... Walk away bro, I just wasted two months working on a very similar scenario. I could have been meeting genuine, cool, interesting, hot chics instead. It took me two months to learn this lesson. It totally staled my progress.
