I have this girl in my lab, I met her once. I would say about 4 weeks, or a month ago. We never talked after that. Today, after thinking for a week, I thought about approaching her, and asking her for a drink with me after class. I even had everything planned everything in my head, logically, how every step should take place. But, when we were about to leave, she started talking with her friend and I never got a chance to talk to her. I had been waiting for almost two weeks to approach her. I never thought, that I would not get a chance to talk to her. Obstacles: I only see her once a week, (the class is once a week) and we work in different groups.

After I see her, and talk to her, what will I do? How do I tell her to get a drink with me? Problem, is we aren't friends, and its hard to be her friend, when I don't see her that often. Any ideas?

What have I learned from this experience: using logic with women, and relationship, and approaching women won't work, and NEVER to have any expectations or outcome. I was literally baffled with what I experienced today.

Im in the same situation bro i have class that is once a week and there is these two girls one an easy hb9 and the other an hb8.5 The hb9 has a bf so i could care less about her but i really want the other. The entire class is filled with older people and weirdos and not being cocky but i know im the easy choice for her in terms of all the guys in the class. I occasionally make eye contact with her but try not to always have her see me looking at her. Just the other day as she was leaving she looked over her shoulder at me and smiled. So obviously i should open but this is what i plan on doing and have done it in several other classes. I usually just wait it out cuz a majority of these girls goto the bars and clubs and it is a lot more easy to approach there in my opinion. Keep me updated on ur situation and ill do the same.

You're bound to fail with your mindset. Practice first.

Before I do a presentation to a big client, I practice with small clients first to see all possible objections and scenarios and prepare for these. This does not include the several practice sets in the hotel room in front of a mirror that I do for several days.

Before a martial arts tournament, I spar with 25 to 50 guys first to know how to react and play the game with taller guys, smaller but faster guys, stronger guys, more skilled guys, and so on. This does not include the bag work, morning runs and other exercises.

Before I became good at sex, I practiced a lot first in sauna joints. I spent some one year's worth of salary to get good at penetration. This practice did not include oral sex. It's only for finding the g-spot and how to stimulate it optimally. I've also read a lot of books and scientific journals on sex.

No amount of reading or advice can help you if you DON'T practice.

Where is the helping portion in this reply? I asked for what to do? I just to admit, that I have no social skills when it comes to girls. No, I don't sit at home, and play video games, I hang out with my friends too. But, women don't talk, or they can't talk logical things we men do. Right, but I have almost to no social skills. I do have a few friends in college right now, but we never hang out. I never had any girlfriend in my life. I am not shy, or an introvert, and I also don't play video games. How do I go from not being social at all, to being a very socially skilled person? In other words, besides, living a life for myself, and enjoying it at the same time, I am willing to run many extra miles so that I can have a girlfriend in my life. What do I do?
