im in highschool and ive been talking with this girl for a while now.. both of us now we like each other... is it ok to ask her on a date ? i was thinking about going out for icecream but im not sure... what reccomendations would you give me for a date ? the movies ? im 15 years old

Why not? If she talks to you often she probably likes you enough to at least go out with you one time. The very worst you find out she considers you just a friend, and then you can move on and find another girl.

Take her to a pool, go for icecream, movie, whatever. The important thing is that you give yourself the opportunity to be alone and do some kino. Not a particular fan of the movie date because things can get awkward if you just sit there the whole time without touching eachother, but if you hold hands and crack jokes about the movie you can make it work.

Just have a plan and stick to it. Don't make the mistake of saying something like "what do you want to do?" Young girls don't like making decisions.
