me and my mate were drinking in a bar and I seen a redhead sitting looking bored so I approached her and she claimed she wasnt in the mood.
so we started talking about how slutty some of the girls in the club looked, her freinds left but she stayed with me about 5 minutes later she wanted to go catch up with her freinds so I said "oh right will I take your number?" she said no so I said "but you said you were lonely" and she was just like nah its ok.
I'm confused did I not build enough comfort? was I too sleazy?

Basically she stayed hoping that you would inspire her because initially i would say she was attracted to you, but then she shit tested you and you failed. And she got bored.

You asked her for the number before even going kino or k-close her, and you also ASKED for the number instead of sayin GIVE me your number. Always be dominant :) To answer you question to where you went wrong, then it's quite clear where and how, you started talking about other slutty girls? :S WHAT THE HELL?!!! Talk about yourself and WOW her, not how slutty other girls looked. She would look like them most of the time so techincally you called her a slut!

More importantly you have to be dominant, like say GIVE me your number instead of can i have your number? 'look you sound like a really fun girl, should def hang out sometime, put your number here'

Being dominate is chill but it seems you didnt create enough attraction.
I would put my phone into the girls hand and make her give me her number. After Id call her in front of her to make sure she has mine. Then keep talking. Getting the number and leaving is not the way, you need to keep making attraction so you make them know the number wasnt the only thing you were after.

First of all, you talked about girls being slutty. That says "if you have sex with me, I'll think you're slutty."

Which is bad.
