Chuck, 26 years, moved to SA 1 month ago.

I was just getting into the PUA scene and was reading and partly executing The Game when I moved to south africa for work.

I'm learning alot and reading everthing I can. I don't think my natural game is horrible but I did do alot of AFC stuff. I would like to get more quality .

I would like to start and learn more. One the one hand this is a great moment to start because I do not know a lot of people here.

This, however, holds me back a lot as well. I don't know when to start practicing because I am alone and i don't really go out to bars alone.

What would you guys suggest?

Another sticking point is transitioning from the opener to a conversation. However this is not a problem at the moment as I'm not even opening. I feel like going to a bar alone is needy and will make it very hard to do any sarging.

Any advice is appreciated while I enjoy getting to know this world

Personally what I do is, I use an opener that makes it easy to make a transition. Eg) if you are using thr dogs and cats openers, you move to asking them if they have any pet or what ever. I think its best to use an opener that works for you and that makes it easier FOR YOU to make a transition

I am very plan-oriented and especially when under stress/pressure I like to have a battle plan that I can stick to, so I try to stack my material so that I have a few paths I can take from each piece to the next piece. I want to get better at improvising but for now I really need to know a piece of material for each stage and what my "link" is going to be once I get a cue that leads me to believe I can move on to the next phase.

As far as going out alone, in the beginning it's a toss up. On the one hand, you feel better if you are with a wing or group but if you wing/group are not PUAs it can get tricky because you will be worrying about them thinking you sound like a corny douche, so you will hesitate more. So if you're going to go with a wing or group make it a PUA wing or group, IMO. Also if you have a PUA friend you can watch each other do stuff and then talk about it afterwards. For me, having a friend watch me talk to groups and such was incredibly helpful, he was able to point out some things about my body language and delivery that have made a huge difference.

would you recommend starting off with day game then? just going to a random mall and start opening? I have never done something like that. I can talk to strangers and do that all the time but actually going there for that reason is going to be different .

Well day game is a lot easier when alone. As it is pretty normal for you to be out by yourself during the day for business or running errands or whatever.
