Okay weekend one at attempting to become a pick up artist instead of a Shy Shelly.

Location: Edmonton AB

Objectives: Work on approaches and openers. Day/Night.

Tools: Sierra_Tango as support. Six selected openers/approaches. Note book to record results to report back to you guys with. Pacman belt as Peacock item for one of the two nights. Normal going out stuff ie Gum.

Story: Heading to Edmonton AB for St paddy's weekend. Hopefully my accent will help me up there where there are less English guys. During the day going to attempt the n00b quest of eye contact and saying "hi" to everyone I can in the massive mall they have up there - This sounds pretty tough on its own for my AA - then on a night time go to a few clubs/bars and approach at least three people/groups per night.

Post weekend report

Day 1

Result: FAIL

Background: Went to some dingy rave club. A fare few HBs ranging 7-9 no knock outs. Only approached two groups both of HBs 6-7. Went home alone after been thrown out of the club.

Lessons:
#1 - DO NOT let a HB 7/8 that you have wanted to get with for over a year come out and tag along with you, ruins all game.
#2 - DO NOT think that you are helping HB out by moving a guy who is trying to AM on them. It leads to a fight - thankful that I won, but it did not help my game.
#3 - If the club is very loud and people can't really understand your accent your game is pretty much down the toilet and all you really have to work with is the novelty of your accent.
#4 - APPROACH MORE.

Day 2

Result: EPIC FAIL

Background: Went to the mall and dragged ourselves round it with the intention of doing the n00b quest, turns out been hungover and been around lots and lots of people sucks.
Went out that night time, not really feeling it had a few in the hotel bar no one to approach. Went to a pretty average country bar - Hate country - Plenty of HB's 7-9 but used the excuse of too hungover/ not feeling it to not approach them.

Lessons:
#1 - DO NOT over do the drink on the first night it will kill you for the rest.
#2 - Approach Approach Approach, do not make up any lame excuse not to. You will hate yourself later.
#3 - Pick venues that suit your game.

Summary: Play to your strengths and pick places where you can use them.

Notes/Props: Sierra_Tango managed to kiss close nine girls ranging from 6-8, his lesson is to stop drinking sooner so that he can try and get further then k-close.
