Hey guys,

I've read a lot of posts in the forum and I think I'm probably very much in the minority here. I'm about 50 yrs old and I'm just starting to learn PU after far too many years as the "nice guy" and usually ending up in the "friend-zone". So far, I haven't had much luck (some k-closes, but no f-closes), but I just started learning this stuff a few weeks ago. I wish I'd started learning this stuff YEARS ago!

I had an earlier post on a specific situation and got some very useful replys and PMs (thanks guys!), but I have a few more general questions I'd like to ask…

1. I know most of the community is much younger than I am, but I'm curious if there are very many (or any!) other guys out there in the forum who are in my age range?

2. How does the game change when going after older women? In my case probably the lower end of the age range I'd reasonably be able to get would be about 40 yrs old. I'm sure some aspects of the game are the same for picking up women of all ages, but I also suspect some aspects are different for 40-ish women. So, what are the differences in the way you effectively meet/PU a women in the 40-ish age range?

3. It seems like there are lots of clubs packed most nights of the week with women in the 20s-30s age group, but I haven't found that many bars/clubs (in the Washington, DC area) that have many single, 40-ish women. (Maybe they are there and I just haven't found them, yet…any suggestions?) Does that seem to be generally true? If so, are there better places (i.e., better than bars) to meet/PU women in the 40-ish age group?

I myself have just turned 30 and I have found that women that are older than me are more straight forward. No need for tricks and run arounds. Straight game is a must. No hiding intentions because they already know what they want. Be straight up but only slightly in the beginning of the interaction until you get a feel for how she is and her boundaries. I especially love older women because they know how to fuck and what they want and have no issues telling you what those are. I would say to just trim off some of the gamey parts of your skills and be far more straight forward for older women. I don't know of anywhere in D.C. but wineries, bookstores, department stores, and coffee shops are some of the place I like to stroll.

Thanks for the info and advice! There are a bunch of wineries in the area. I was actually thinking of those as more of a date destination, but you're right, they'd probably also be a good place to meet women. I'll can try hanging out a little more in some of the other places you mentioned such as coffee shops, bookstores (while bookstores still exist), etc. It seems like the places you've recommended would call for a slower day game approach.

I'm sure there are some decent bar/clubs, etc. in the DC area that have some slightly older women...just gotta find them.
