Two weeks ago, my girlfriend of over 4 years dumped me for reasons totally within my control. Basically, I got lazy with things, took her for granted and lost my focus. We got into a huge fight over something trivial which led to the break up itself. Since then, I've been handling things poorly and really acting like kind of a chump. I'm hoping to turn that around.
Anyway, I'm not sure what section I should post in for help with something this but I'm hoping to get help/advice about getting her back. I realize that's not the focus of this forum but it's the path I'm hoping to take.
Thanks for reading this and thanks in advance for the help.

We were collaborating on a work project together before the break up and I asked if she would like to continue now. She agreed to but only via email. She's stated she's emotionally checked out and moved on and doesn't want to be with me.
Am I being a chump here by trying to maintain the email-only threads of our work connection or is it a good strategy to try to use it as leverage to turn things around?
thanks
