Thanks Snarg - I think you've got a good feel for the situation.
Yes I'll let it cool down and won't chase up on it.
I know I sound like a p*ssy but my view was a little distorted because I think I was starting to fall for her a bit.
It turns out my friend is going to date another friend of hers so we'll probably end up crossing paths again in the not too distant future.
I'm not too interested in her friend but it could be a bit of fun.
I guess I'd be a little foolish to rule it out but maybe I'm taking her feelings into consideration too much.
Thanks again for listening & responding.. really appreciated.
I'm learning but it's a slow (& difficult) process!

Hey guys..
Back for more if you don't mind listening..
I don't know why but I revert to total AFCdom when I reach this stage with a girl.
So I bumped into this girl again over the weekend and she was REALLY cold with me like turning her back on me etc.
I spotted her by herself at the bar so I said 'what the hell' and went over to talk with her. We talked for about 2 mins and she was still really cold. I said something REALLY stupid like 'I hope you find a nice guy' and she said 'I'm positive that I will'. I said 'I'm sure of it too. Hope we can still hang out.' She said 'of course'. We just left it at that but she didn't want to be near me at all.
I dunno if it was revenge or what. One of my friends heard from her friend something like 'Oh I thought he was a nice guy'.
I feel a bit mindf*cked to be honest. She's playing games but I'd still like to hang out as friends.. there's plenty of potential to meet girls through her also.
Sorry for going on but could do with some advice from you... you are the experts.
Thanks

Just stop. Stop trying to end things on a positive note. You fucked up, it happens, move on.

I don't quite get how I fucked up if we weren't together.
Sure she's not happy with me but I wouldn't think the situation can't be recovered to at least get friendship.
I've been a total sucker before and let girls have me around as their 'orbiters' and gotten crushed so I wanted to break the cycle.
I thought this PUA thing wasn't all about getting laid.
I'd appreciate any advice from someone with a bit of life experience.
I might have no other option to move on but if I genuinely like someone (even if its just friends) I wouldn't like to lose them or have them thinking of me as an a-hole

Do whatever YOU want to do. Stop letting her lead. You want a relationship? Then go for it. Call her up, be like "I'm sorry, I lied to you. I want a relationship, lets go out."
