Posts: 33 | | i met a beautiful girl out the other night! we traded numbers and all was good. i had a date arranged for tomorrow night but i m=now have to cancel because its my mothers birthday and i totally forgot about it!
how can i cancel the date without coming across as a dick, and arrange another one?

Stand your ground and be honest. In fact if anything, it would demonstrate higher value to HER that you have such priorities. Just let her know that you are sorry for having to cancel last minute. Do not show too much interest/neediness when doing this though.
