(I posted this originally in the Inner Game section, but not enough people go there and this really should be revealed to everyone, beginners especially...)

WHAT IS YOUR PURPOSE ON THIS PLANET AND HOW WILL YOU CONTRIBUTE TO THE BETTERMENT OF HUMANITY?

These are the two biggest and most powerful questions you can ask yourself when developing your inner game.

The individuals who will go the furthest in life and who will have the greatest impact on this world are also the ones with the strongest LIFE PURPOSE.

They know with absolute certainty what their purpose is and how they plan on changing the world for the better. Done...I challenge anyone to refute that.

Just think about all the most influential people in the world throughout history...John Lennon, Ghandi, Tony Robbins, Martin Luther King, Steve Jobs, Socrates, Albert Einstein, etc. I mean the list goes on and on. You get the picture.

All of these people CHANGED the world as we see it today and those who are still alive continue to do so.

So back to us...how does this affect Inner Game? It should be pretty obvious to you by now.

What if someone from the distant future came to you RIGHT NOW and told you that you were the ONE and that you were destined to bring eternal enlightenment to mankind and reshape the world forever? What if they said that your actions would result in the curing of all disease, war, poverty, depression? How would you suddenly act and carry yourself knowing that all of this was a CERTAINTY as sure as your heart beats?

Would you be afraid to approach people and socialize? Would you be hesitant of telling your boss what you really felt about him or her? Would you put up with your shitty relationship? Would ANYTHING bother you like it once did???

The answer to all of this would and should be a resounding NO.

I will repeat the question again:

WHAT IS YOUR PURPOSE ON THIS PLANET AND HOW DO YOU PLAN ON CONTRIBUTING TO THE BETTERMENT OF HUMANITY?

Treat these questions seriously and spend as much of your time and energy as you can afford thinking about them. Their answers are the key to UNLOCKING YOUR POTENTIAL AS A HUMAN BEING.

Find your absolute PASSION in life and keep those powerful questions in the back of your mind 24/7...the more profound your purpose is in life the stronger your Inner Game will be.

May you achieve everything you desire during your existence in this Universe...Live life with no limitations.

Man, this is a good concept, and I certainly believe that as an artist, I'm going to make my mark on the world.

The difference is that I have no idea how much impact I'm going to make. There are millions, if not billions, of people through history who thought that they were important, that they could achieve something. When they failed to reach fame and success (probably BECAUSE of this preoccupation with material gain) then they became bitter and hate life.

Those who truly succeed recognize their purpose, work to achieve it, and are not concerned with egoic labels like being the "ONE."

Did Martin Luther King realize when he was developing his beliefs about equality that he would end up being one of the greatest men in history?
Of course not. He saw an injustice and he worked to change it. He could have just as easily been a pastor and lived a humble life. He would have been just as happy and fulfilled that way.

Retain your humility, guys, it's a virtue.

I appreciate the feedback fellas, but some people are taking my example too literally and missing the point.

It is about having a strong purpose to live and knowing it internally...You aren't thinking to yourself "I'm the shit and the entire world is going to realize my awesomeness. Fuck you bitchezzzz!!!"

Lol, it's about having something you are passionate and giving yourself to helping others and ultimately making an impact on the world. The confidence that arises out of having that stronger life purpose is the big picture.

yes... I totally agree with you. without big goal/purpose man isnt man... its just something with dick. every man should have big purpose of life. But the key is not to obsessed with it. not go after fame.

Yes I completely agree. The actual process and intent is what matters, the outcome is secondary.
