ok first backround info. read the game and now in the prosess of reading mystery method. as wqe all know he gives a brief descrition of an opener and only gives one example of one that has been played out too many times. so heres my own. first off both of my ears are pierced at 4 guage. so i figured here it would go in a mall or store feild.

me: Hey can i get your opinion on something i only have a little of time before meeting up with some people at the bar/club or where ever so it will only take a minuete. I was thinking of streacthig my ears a size bigger but im a fraid it might be to freakishly large. Do you think guys with big guage earings are just compensating for somthing or it actually looks good.?


the only thing i can see wrong from this point is that im fishing for exceptance (LHV) other then that i think it would work good to start up conversation and leead into the comfort building stage.

I like the creativity of the opener and I was about to post a positive for it but...then I thought of a HB9/Hb10 response. What if they say to you, "Do you feel the need to compensate for something?" I can see it happening because you brought it up and they are twisting your words. If I can think of it that fast then I'm sure they will. As I tell most people the true test is in the field, but you might want to modify it to something like "Do you think guys with big ear gauges are sexy or do you not care?"
