But I'm single right now and trying to get numbers:

MY Q:
When coming up to a girl, is it better to be casual, almost platonic and un-threatening (even running the risk that you just want to be friends), getting her number and then trying to txt/call for a date later?

OR

Is it better to be more forward in your conversation and ask if she has a bf very early on and drop sexual innuendo?

What's the balance? If the first option is 0 (platonic/unthreatening) and the other is 10 (sexual/agressive) what should you aim for???

better to be sexual but not come across as perverted or just wanting to get in her knickers. If you come across as a wet lettuce with the friends thing, she will see you as that so the phone call after is irrelevant as she wont want to talk or see you in that way. First impressions count the most.

You want to be sexual early on, but not overly sexual. Don't be a perv, and be genuinely interested in the girl beyond a sexual standpoint. Joking + sexual topics = win.
