So yesterday I was bored planning on staying in because non of my friends wanted to go out. Finally one of my friends agreed to go out to a bar and lets just see what happens.

As soon as I got there I was planning on approaching the hottest girl there... (I can't remember last time I have approached a girl)

Anyways we got there and there was no hot girls or even that much girls at all basically all guys... So I ordered a drink and sat down with my friend trying to plan our next move... When all of a sudden two HB10's & one HB7 arrived. I wanted to approach but hesitated it was the 15sec rule. My other friends showed up so it was 4 guys total... so I did not feel so pimpish rolling with bunch of dudes.

Whatever I said fuck it ill do it live!

I went up to their table when they sat down and told the hottest blond one that she looked like an artist and if she was going to kareokee. She laughed and said no she didn't sing what about you?

I told her I'm a dancer not a singer and she said she was too.. so we started talking.. Then my friends (3 guys) joined me and sat around me... one of them sat between me and her so the conversation died a little..

So basically I failed to number close her because I was an idiot... when they were leaving the blonde HB10 told me. "Don't get cocky or anything but I noticed you as soon as I came in. "

I was not sure what to say so I replied with something stupid. "I noticed you notice me too. " Either way I still failed to number close. - Which my goal was to just approach that night but still...

Anyways when they left I noticed two other girls HB7-8's sitting at a table alone. I had a boosted confidence by then so I just approached them with the opener "hey ladies I got a question for you.. My friend thinks Jennifer Aniston is hotter then Angelina Jolie what do you ladies think?"

They smiled and started talking to me right away then my friend came and sat down next to us gaming one of the girls.

Either way this was closer to the end of the night when the bar was closing... I asked one of the girls lets go back to my place and continue the party. She smiled and said ok let me ask my friend though. She asked her friend when all of a sudden two of my friends came over and just killed it... started talking to the girls and just said stupid stuff... the girls turned a switch and just said "We will take a cab thank you."

I was like whatever and just left with my other friend.

- How do you deal with close friend pulling up a chair between you and your target. He did this because it was so packed and he did not have a place to sit... This killed my game on the HB10 I approached that night.

- I just started reading Neil Strauss the game - on page 43 out of 234 so I guess I still have alot to learn.

Either way I am glad I finally approached ladies and did not get a drink thrown at me!!! I must say I have this forum to thank! Its honestly the first time I have done that since I can remember. I must do it more Tonight!!

That is why I either go out alone or take my roommate who knows the rules of pickup. Your problem wasn't your close friend it was the other two idiots. After you finish the game pass it one to one other friend. Make him your wing and you will have better luck.
