Soooooooo....

Waiting at the bus stop, the bus was 15 minutes late, and see a girl walking towards this stop.
We were all alone and I am not gay, so ofcourse, = say anything!

I : '15 minutes late huh?' (in my language)
She: 'Excuse me? English?'
I : 'Oh, it is 15 minutes late huh?'
She :'Ah yeah, last time it was also late blablablablablabla yesterday blablabla'
I : 'Okay, and where are you from?'

So we keep talking about her study, but actually connecting with someone in your second language is hard. Sometimes I don't really get her and I didn't know how to express myself the right way.
We get in the bus and I sit next to her, asked her where shes going. She had to do some stuff in the mall. (get a book)
When we got off, she walked with me and kept talking, but the mall was the other way.
So I lied: 'Well, I gotta work at 5, but if you want I can go with you.' (looking at my golden watch making thinking faces)
She said: 'Yeah okay.' (don't really remember, but it was affirmative lol)

We walk to the store and she gets her book, then we walk back to where we got off.
During the walk I ask her how old she is, she's 22. I'm 20 but she didn't ask. I was like 20 cm taller than her, but she may think I was younger.
I said: 'Well, while you're here we could go out somewhere. You got a cellphone?'
She said: 'Yes, here'. She types something in her phone, and shows it to me.
It was strange, though. She showed her phone with the number in it, and looks away the whole time. (I typed it in with one hand, so I maybe misclicked a number, but don't think so) I text her my name, and said that I'll let her meet some cool people in this country. I didn't even get her name.

So maybe the bad part: I text her an hour and a half since we've part: 'By the way, tell me, has a cute little girl like you ever smoked weed?'
And until now, something like 5 hours later, she still hasn't responded lol.

Ofcourse I don't really care, but I do want to learn. Where did I go wrong?

Some girl don't like smokers or boozers. Don't bring up weed in your first text. It makes you look bad.

I guess because I live in the weed capital I assumed people that came there were more receptive for it, or at least know that people that live there do it more often than people in other countries.

I don't look like a junkie and she knows I'm in college too, so that's definitely a pro.

But I'd still have to say, if she really, really liked me, something as small as smoking weed isn't gonna change all her feelings towards me.
