| I'll try to keep this short, I'm at university and gamed a girl two weeks ago to almost pure perfection. She was a friend of a friend, he bailed and left me with her and her friends. No big deal, I made friends quickly (both the guys and the girls). Moved well into kino, had her grabbing on my arm a lot during the night, playfully hitting me, and did a lot of dancing (in a mixed area that allowed for talking as well - NOT a super noisy dance floor). And to top it off, if I said we should step outside for air, she had no problem leaving her friends and going with me for lengths of time.
So where'd I mess up? One, I thought I had more time to close (I originally did) and I got cockblocked hard.
The snag in the night was that this girl lived far off campus with all her friends. I was quickly invited over and we taxi'd back to her place. But somewhere along the way of everyone taking separate taxis (there were other people in town celebrating her roommate's bday) another guy appeared in the mix. The type of guy that puts all of his confidence in his muscle and none in personality.
Long story short, this guy was relentless on trying to inch his way in with this girl, and even insisted on sleeping in her room (she made him sleep next to the dog lol). And he successfully blocked all my efforts.
I had to get back to campus in the morning somehow and short of paying for a taxi, some people leaving back to their homes offered me a ride early (before she got up). So I didn't even get her number.
As it turns out though, I have class with her. Further, in the few times in passing that we run by each other or catch one another's eye, I always get a flirty smile or she tries to come up with something quick to say to me.
We're having a party at my apartment tomorrow, and I want to invite her out. Is it bad to just approach her now and invite her, should I try getting her number? In class is not my usual spot for gaming, I don't know what comes off creepy or not.
I really would appreciate any help or funny openers I could use to make this less awkward when I see her in class today!
Thanks,
~ TG
