Alright after a whole big misunderstanding and huge conflict this girl texts me saying, "I'm not mad, please treat me like a friend again."
To which I reply, "Can't promise anything but I will try."

Do I need to count my losses and move on and stop wasting anymore time on this girl?

I'll respond to you by taking it at face value, though.

I made out with this girl, she thought i was trying to rape her when i tried going down on her. She told me her uncle molested her when she was 17. I explained it to her that, that was not my intention. She still believes that i tried to rape her. But ironically she let me walk her home the very next night after i made out with her. So i don't know if this girl is trying to f with my mind. I know she put me in the friend zone now. I need to know where i messed up so i don't do this again.

Honestly, it's probably not your fault then. She's probably just scarred for life if she's telling the truth about her uncle. Unless you reaaaaaaally like this girl and want to marry her (hint: you don't), just pack up and move on to someone more "normal". I hate to use that word for someone who's been through something like that, but the fact is, there's way too much baggage that you probably don't want/need to handle.

You are right, she's probably not worth the trouble that comes with her. But there is nothing i did unethical in this whole interaction right?
