Depends on the context, can you give more of it? Any time I've heard those words was after a very selfish act, but as I said, it depends on context.

It's just a typical annoyed female reaction. She's jealous and it bothers her that you're so confident. It's like when someone says... wow you think pretty highly of yourself... in a sarcastic manner. She tried to dlv you, so her value would go up. So what did you say to that? Just smirk and slowly look away? I guess, that would have been my reaction.
