hey guys, been working on my game for a while now. never posted before but i need your help. one night fclosed HB9 last weekend. some good game texts day after. send her message tonight saying come to [CLUB], she replies with "dude,its a thursday - the day devoted to my husband! weekends are negotiable." how the hell do i reply to this, if at all.

normally i wouldnt reply as she did not say yes, but because she mentioend the husband i think i need to go back with something.

never really been in this situation before, appreciate the advice!!!

Lol. That's weird.
I say don't even mind it, i would reply with something like "So are you coming or what". She's obviously not committed to her husband if you f-closed. Or maybe it's a test.

But, that's just me.

Whenever I'm in doubt I revert to one word game.

Her: "Dude, It's a thursday, can't come out"
You: "Gay."

or something obscure or non-sequittoir.

"So are you coming or what?" Is a good response too, retains frame control, although she'll probably say no if it's for a practical reason and then you won't be able to follow up later without looking at least a tad bit desperate (you'd have to wait for her to initiate contact).

As for this being some sort of test, possibly, but the way you're going about this is wrong. I know sounds totally insignificant but when you say

"this is some sort of test," you're indirectly pedestalizing her by phrasing the situation as something you DON'T UNDERSTAND. The acme of game, a sense of AMUSED MASTERY, relies on an attitude that assumes you understand everything about her, that you have seen it all and dealt with it all and that nothing she can do phases you. Acting confused about the matter and then saying "Need Help!!" rephrases the entire situation with HER as the challenge. It's not just an issue of semantics, it lays the subtext for your entire relationship with her. You must BELIEVE, not just think, that you are 20,000 leagues above her.
