Being too verbally aggressive

I have a question and I want you guys to help me.

When i get a number and call a girl, i get verbally aggressive and puts them down. I don't do it on purpose, it's just that i'm very direct. Is there any tips you guys can give me to improve my way of speaking to women or people in general?
