That's always a tough one, idiot AFC's ruining it for the rest of us...
If you think the attractions there then DON'T compete with the other guys, don't post a lot or send her lots of messages; just wait until you're heading to her town and send one saying you're visiting (in the message don't say you want to meet her, let her invite you to a place)
and don't worry about having trouble keeping it "alive" - LDR's are hit and miss, maybe put a mysterious post or 2 on her page to make her wonder about you and keep you in her mind. Maybe something like "you guys wouln't believe what my friend did today...(don't finish the statement, leave it with the ...)" and don't tell her about "what your friend did" no matter how hard she asks; hopefully she'll spend the next week thinking about you and your post (and your not competing with the other guys, you're all she thinks about and they never even know it, and you don't have to message her every day)
