You can accept friend requests, just don't do it instantly otherwise you might look desperate, and apparently desperation can really turn off girls, no matter how into you they might have initially been. :S

I always worry about losing value and looking desperate when sending a friend request, I feel offended that they didn't want to friend request me and fear they'll think I'm desperate.

Adding girls , or accepting friends requests on Facebook is not something weird.In fact it's very normal but sadly it's a process that won't help quite a bit with getting girls.

It's not something weird , but it isn't something you need to do either.

No offense, but this is a silly question. It does not matter at all who adds who, hopefully you made a good impression when you first met her that she wants you to add her. Remember, always think ahead, whenever you're with a girl, act in a way that means she will want to see you again.
