So I'm quite aware that women like to say one thing, but mean another. I was just wondering if you guys could help me out on this one.

She texts me today at work, we go back and forth a little then she says "if you're too swamped at work or busy to text me back I completely understand, I just wanted to say hi"

Does this actually mean she wants to see me as an alpha male that won't reply to a woman until my work day is over? or is this her actually saying she respects my valuable time and doesn't want to "take away" my day? I'm having trouble deciphering her true motives behind saying that.

Any help?

If yes, let her know that you are busy but you do appreciate her patience. If you can be funny about it, even better.

If not, well, you're busy. Take it however you want to. You should be in control. I can see how you might think its some sort of shit test, but honestly its only shit if you put up with it. Honestly I think she believes that you are busy, not really stroking your alpha ego. Having a life is alpha already. If it was somebody who I liked saying that, I would play it off like they're oggling me, as long as you have that sort of a friendship.

Even though I could have texted all day I decided to tell her I'm busy and I should let her go. She then said "sighhh. fine. I guess I can let you go" I said back "Good girl, cuz if you wouldn't let me go that would be another +1 in the spank bank" She find that quite humorous and we left on a very funny, positive tension note.
