In one of my classes there is this HB I have been talking to for a while now. Not too long ago we exchanged numbers under the impression of helping each other out in the class. The thing is however that I am getting kind of complicated iois from her. The iois I am getting are,

*She reinitiates conversations when I stop talking
*She tries to get rapport and build comfort with me

situationally though I think these could just be her being friendly, however, I have yet to escalate with her and I am still trying to find out if she has a boyfriend. I am sort of hesitant to escalate with her because I saw her take what was possibly birth control right next to me in class. I would like to know for sure if she has a boyfriend or not because I would like to sit in the friend zone if she does. Any idea if she likes me? What should my next move be?

A lot of girls take birth control just to control their periods.

Don't wonder if she has a boyfriend or not. It DOESN'T matter. Escalate with the assumption that she's single. Don't put yourself in the friend zone, control the frame and be a man. You're attracted to this girl and she's giving you IOI's. She's obviously interested. She gave you HER number. This isn't to "help you" in class. Escalate.

Hey thanks for the help. I would just like to know if she has a boyfriend or not because I am trying to do social circle game. If she has a boyfriend I would like to sit in the friend zone and game other girls. I guess its kind of jumping the gun when I see her taking birth control when I don't even know if it is birth control. And who knows, she just took it out all of a sudden, maybe it was actually my being their that reminded her to take her birth control.
