I dress nice, clean shaven, have relatively neat hair. I have this feeling this girl just wanted to see how I would react. She didn't straight up ask me if I was gay, but implied it; she said "what's your sexual orientation?" I've never been asked this and wondering what I've could've done to turn this around in my favor.

This depends a lot on your personality. I'm a bit of a ham, so I'll tell a girl "I'm so comfortable with my homosexuality that I've chosen to sleep exclusively with women."

For the record, if women think you're gay, this is usually (though not always) a good thing. You might just thank the girl too!

It's not a good thing to come off as gay and if a girl questions your manhood, that's a serious insult. I need something to say that'll flip the script on her and make her look stupid and another one that can help escalate- by making her "convert" me; depending on the type of girl she is.

Years ago I opened a set. I had just gone to a bar after a work party - was in suit and tie. A girl told me I'm gay because I dress well and because of my glasses. I didn't lose my cool, just casually took my glasses off and slid them over to her. Then readjusted my tie and smiled.

She later told me that most guys freak out when she asks if they're gay, and that I responded really well. Case in point.
