Then she ditched him. I knew about this so I was thinking about saying "I'm confused, he totally doesn't look like your type and you're too good for him."
But I thought that gets close to putting her on a pedestal so I was thinking maybe "I'll dare say you're too good for him".
I'd like to throw in a joke about how she slowly found out he's a nazi skinhead too. Can anyone think of something good?

She'll obviously get defensive and deny it and try to show that she belongs on a "higher" pedestal. The only thing you need to say after that is to either get the number or set a date.
