Pretty sure my dumbass AFC gave up an easy SNL tonight.

Was at a bar with some friends which plays live music, we're all at the dance area infront of the band. My friend tells me this girl keeps looking at me and girl gets in my area... I look at her and she grins/opens me and we talk a briefly, she suddenly says "friend is calling me back over there!"

I was like whatever but my friend told me to re-approach. I reapproach and she's all excited this girl is real cute and offers to buy me a drink. ANyway, we talk a bit at the bar (she's drunk) and I go meet her friend. It's so loud, it's difficult to talk to both of them.

My dumbass friends leave, so I'm with the girl and her friend. The girl who is into me is dancing and stuff with me but her friend seemed rather bored.

I was getting irritated because it was a couple hours until the bar closed so I said lets go somewhere else, they were like nah, so I said I'm going anyway. And she was like "nooo are you coming back...?" Of course I FORGOT TO #-CLOSE TO MEET UP WITH THEM LATER IN THE NIGHT!

This is why I am "nashnewbie" and not "nashpua."

How would you have delt with a situation like this? Pretty sure I gave up a snl with an hb8!

One issue I had here is that I didnt' want to stand around with them uncomfortably until the bar closed hoping to f-close the girl.

I didn't have anyone to engage her friend, so I could just stand and dance with them or choose the path of least ackwardness and bounce, which is why I did.

It's obvious this girl was trolling for dick, she was out of town and told me I was one of the cutest guys she's ever seen. Not even sure if that's a complement.



i would like to add this - not that i've really had any sort of huge success BUT... has anyone who has begun to progress seem to find themselves faltering when end game appears infront of them seemingly very easily?

It's common to freeze up a little in the beginning. The easy close seems to go against everything you've been working towards and doesn't give you the emotional satisfaction of sucessfully working through the phases of a pick up. But look, it's like training hard and long for an upcoming boxing match. You're prepared to go 10 rounds and fight a real battle...then, 10 seconds in you connect with your fist punch and put the guy to sleep. A win is a win is a win. It's not the fight you expected, but you won and your training did pay off.

Being calibrated to know how and when to pull the trigger on a quick lay is part of PU. Sometimes just being in that mindset and having confidence will build enough attraction to bypass most of the PU process, especially if she's already hot (and drunk).

You should've engaged both of them. Dancing, fun coversation, ect. You must make sure the obstical is having fun so she doesn't bring your target down. Usually, you have to do this without showing (too much) sexual interest in her. That's not easy when you're wingless, I know.

One thing I noticed, from the few times we've been out, is your complete confidence regardless whether you get blown out, hook a set, or you're just hanging out in a place w/o any social proof. Simply awesome!

I could only hope Nashville develops more weekday hotspots!
