I have a speed dating night on in two nights time. You get 5 minutes with each girl and I was wondering what are some good ways to make an impression quickly?

Any help is greatly appreciated.

If you want to avoid the interview style and make it a little more fun ... make assumptions or make statements!

Examples:

1) I'm assuming you are not from her. (Compared to): "Where are you from?"
2) You look like you work in retail. (Compared to): "What do you do for a living?"
3) If she is a student ... "I'm assuming you are studying to be a teacher" (Compared to): "What are you studying?"

Even if you guess wrong ... she will tell you the right answer ... if you guess it right (if you are observe things to relate to the answer) ... then she will be amazed.

Normally, I get into state before the speed date. So prior to the event, I would go do some day game ... ask people for directions to places I know ... talk to random strangers on the street .... talk to cashiers ... or cabbies ... etc etc ... If you are in state you will be more charismatic and talkative!

Have fun! Remember the Law of state transfer: "Whatever you feel, she will feel" ... if you are having fun ... she will have fun ... if you are nervous ... she will be nervous. Be self amusing ... talk about things you want to talk about ... talk about things you are interested in. When you talk about things you are interested in ... you normally are enthusiastic about it. If you are enthusiastic ... she will feel that and you will be enthusiastic. You will also be authentic ... girls are so attracted to guys who are authentic!

Don't rely on them calling you ... ask for the number in person! Normally you write down your information on a piece of paper for people to call you or not ... instead exchange numbers in person. That way, you don't leave it to her to call you or not ... you have a chance to go call her! Plus you don't have to wait ... you decide when to call her!

Don't be overly eager. Let her feel she has to meet your standards on not the other way around.
