A lot of times when I'm opening girls and they mention they have a boyfriend they always mention that he's super jealous and wouldn't allow her to talk to another guy even in a friendly way.

I've been in relationships in the past and I never cared who she was talking to, so long as he was respectful and not some ghetto superstar loser.

My only logical explanation is that these guys have really low self-esteem or are insecure. They're afraid their girls are going to leave them for the next best thing that comes around, but that's an actually really rare scenario because girls in most cases are too pussy to leave their bfs, even if the relationship sucks and even if there's no other guy in the picture. And believe it or not, I find, at least where I live, that most of these girls are HB8-10 who are in these relationship with these losers.

So I would like to have your take on why guys are so jealous.

Are you the jealous type? Is it normal for a guy to be jealous like this?

Why are girls attracted to the jealous type and stay in relationships with them?

Why are girls in these long, boring, and even dreadful relationships with guys who embody these questionable traits?

Another sub topic is why are girls so naive and believe that their BF is "the one"?

Statistics indicate that the majority of casual/bfgf relationships fail, and in some cases marriages. I have my own view on this one, as I think that most guys are deceptive in the beginning hiding most of their flaws and once they feel secure enough, like they have the girl, their real traits start to unravel and they become unattracted to the guy. They do this because they realize that it'll be hard for them to find another girl.

You pretty much answered your own question here. It's not always the fault of the guy though. Believe it or not, women will subtlety try to manipulate you into revealing these flaws, and potentially cause you to develop flaws you didn't have in the first place. It's called betaization.

It's talked about on the sosauve forums until the thread title "How could it have gone wrong??" - The Sh*t Test Everyone Fails. They refer to it as an active shit test, and not a process like betaization, but it's essentially the same thing.

Yeah, I'm actually very jealous. It bothers me, I wish I wasn't.

I don't understand the point of this thread. It's interesting that you brought up the jealous boyfriends though. I've actually gotten a day 2 with a girl in a relationship after she rejected me because I said "He won't let you to see me? Do I need to get a girlfriend so it's allowed?"

She wanted to prove that her boyfriend wasn't jealous, plus maybe she got a little jealous, so she said yes. Didn't work out later though.

So I'm assuming based on your jealousy that it's just a natural thing to be jealous (no offence in anyway). It's not mainly attributed to insecurity, because I would assume you're a pretty confident guy if you're on here.

Well I've gotten a jealous girls number who was in a relationship before, but it always goes to a dead end, it's just so she can prove that she has some sort of control over her life.

As I see it, jealous people are either insecure or in relationships with sluts lol :)
No point in jealousy or being reactive if there is no disrespect from the girl.
The reason why girls stay with bad boyfriends, is as you said it, they deceived them in the beginning, then they fell in love and now they're hoping the guy will change. He wont, but she'll waste a year or two hoping anyways, then she'll upgrade.

I'm getting there. Most of my jealousy was when I was in an LTR before all this. Haven't officially had a girlfriend since, and I see no reason to be jealous over an unofficial girl. Maybe I have changed, I don't know.

Either way, jealousy isn't worth feeling.
