So I finally sacked up and went out alone tonight. I debated it for a few hours, finally said fuck it around 11 and went out to a local place with a good karaoke night on Fri and Sat. I figured if there wasn't anyone worth talking to, at least I oculd get some singing done. Yeah, I'm kind of a karaoke junkie.

Anyway, kind of slim pickins there, bnut I did see two girls at a table by themselves, just kind of watching. So I went over, said hi, and started looking at the karaoke book, and started a convo with that...I asked if they were going to sing, gave them a hard time when they said no, asked where they were from. At that point the cuterof the two asked my name and intro'd herself (so I'm thinking, cool, IOI).

So we're talking aobut different places in town we hang out at, and I said cool, well next time I dokaraoke I'll give you a call. So she turned it around, and was like "yeah, give me your number!"

I said "wow, that was pretty slick of you...I was trying to get your number, now here I am giving you mine".

At the same time I see the other girl (who turned out to be her 21 y/o sister) writing, then she hands me a karaoke slip with both thier names and numbers on it.

So a 2 set SISTERS number close. That was pretty cool.

It wasn't a huge triumph, I'd say they were maybe in the 6 range. Although the older one was really stacked, which I like, so I'll probably call her and try to F close. She also said they throw alot of house parties, so that might be a way to meet some other chicks if I can weasel an invite.

I also got some DHV points, while I was singing (fight for your right, Beastie Boys), they both started dancing (the busty one had some nice bounce going on haha), and then were like "OMG, you were fuckin' AWESOME!"

The main goal that I achieved tonight was A) going out alone (I'm not big on this...it's really tough to get motivated to do it) and actually opening a set and number closing.

The conversation went well actually, once I made the move it was quite easy. I always forget that, and it always makes approaching harder. I really need to do this more and not just every few months, then it will become second nature.

It felt good tonight, it's been a rough few months. I've been getting shot down alot with the online dating....I'm getting the dates, but they either don't go anywhere, or fizzle out after a month. Although I HAVE banged a few new chicks over the past few months. Not that that's all I'm about, but it's a nice consolation prize.

Anyway, not a bad night, and hopefully I'll be posting more of these soon.
