This isn't strictly to do with gaming girls, but later on tonight I'm heading out with my ex-girlfriend and her new lad, plus the other 3 people who I live with (my ex is still really good friends with my housemates, and we were friends before we got together, so it's hard not to bump into her occassionaly, and we're normally alright anyway). The reason me and the new lad don't get on is because she was dating him, then cheated on him with me (I wasn't actually aware she was in a relationship), then we got together and she's since gone back. And he's a dick.

One of my housemates thinks her new boyfriend is a bit of a tool, whilst the other two quite like him. I tend to just stay well out of the way when I have had to meet him.

However, there's only 6 of us tonight, so it's quite "intimate" and close quarters. We're having 'pre-drinks' around ours first. How would you lot act at the predrinks? When we get to the club, I'll split off with my usual housemate who acts as a wing, but during the 'predrinks'.

I'm debating between trying to belittle him as much as possible (and probably coming across as a bit of a prick to my housemates), OR just ignoring him and everytime he starts speaking just taking a drink or looking at my phone, then snapping back into the conversation like he's not said anything.

As I say - this is more of a bit of fun thread, not looking for serious, long answers, and sorry it's not about gaming as such - just interested in some of your takes on this.

If you wanna confuse the shit out of everybody, be suuuuper nice to him! It should create some situations to laugh at when you're alone with the mate that thinks he's a dick.

Haha, might well try this. I was slightly worried that spending a couple of hours with him might not get me into the "mood" for the club - I suppose that's one way of amusing myself whilst staying in that mood!

Yeah, and to upgrade the experience, you should plant a camera somewhere to document all the confused faces. Oh god, I'd make such a performance out of it. You could go borderline gay on the guy, it would be hilarious. Be careful not to start laughing in the middle. Have fun anyways and good sarging
