Met a girl leaving the bar last Saturday night. She was pretty drunk dancing and so forth, but I got the number and kissed her on the cheek, and left. I mentioned getting coffee in the future. I saw her put my name in her phone when I called it.

I just texted her for the first time, "What's up Amy?". An hour later she texts back with, "Who is this?". One thing is that my iPhone went to iMessage when I texted her, but the phone she put my name in was not an iPhone, so I'm not sure what is going on there. Two phones?

Any opinions on a good response?

you did not get to know her well enough or make a memorable impact, you gotta remember girls give out their numbers lots at bars, really means nothing, it is what you do in person and the connection between the two of you that matters not the number, also there is a decent chance she deleted your number after you put it in

Yeah, good points. I think I ejected too soon as you say. She actually kind of acted like she wanted me to keep talking when I said I was leaving. She stuck out her hand to shake it before I kissed her on the cheek...not a good sign. Also, I probably shouldn't have talked about the future like going out for coffee etc., but we were both pretty drunk, and it was a sloppy interaction. I did have a douche walk up and try to interrupt, but I broke it up and went back to her. Gotta cinch the belt down on my game. I will use the Prince Charming response.

That's just your ego talking, calm down sport. You can game her via text, at least for a bit. Don't do anything rash.

What you're going to do Mr. PUA-in-Training, is take this as an opportunity to practice some of the gaming tools/techniques you've learned, or are about to learn here. In other words, this is no longer about pursuing her, but practicing and honing your text gaming skills! If you end up bagging her in the end, then all the more power to ya.

You're right. I'm terrible at text game, but it seems you are forced into it these days. I'm 13 years older than this girl, but you have to text nowadays. I'll give it a few more with confidence, but I don't like where it's going.
