How I got into the game: I recently decided to step my game up. I have known about the game for about 2 years now but never really got into it... I am reading Neil Strauss' book and surfing forums..

How long you've been studying and practicing pickup: I am just getting started, hoping to get really good at this

Which pickup method(s) you like to use: Until now I have not used any pickup methods... Just been approaching girls when I'm drunk and hoped for the best.. It sometimes works out but it's not very effective..

What your hobbies/passions are: I'm into all kinds of sports, mostly handball (team handball).. Recently been trying to reform the way I spend my life (probably one of the reasons I got into this PUA game). One life, live it!

What your goals are: Just getting better with women... I think the reasons are pretty obvious, beautiful women are one of the things I like the most about this world

Back Story: When I was 14 years old I got into a relationship with a girl (she was very beautiful, 9+) , It lasted for two years... It ended really badly for me, I got hurt and it took me a long time to get over her. Since then I have had about ten one-night stands with different girls, most of them I knew briefly (girls who were in my class when I was younger etc..) My problem is not talking to girls I know, my problem is approaching a hot girl I have never talked to before, breaking the ice and sealing the deal.. I am often in the position where I have a GOLDEN opportunity to break the ice and start a conversation with a girl. You know, when you feel she is just waiting for you to say something, and you are trying to think of something to say, but you don't say anything and the moment slips away (did that rhyme?). This happens far to often to me, and I want to learn what to do and how to act in these situations to prevent them from slipping away. This is what I want to master. Spend 40% of your time reading and 60% in the field trying it out and your mind will open up in a way you never thought was possible or existed...Most women work the same way and think the same way...sad...but..true.
