I'm sure I'm not the only "foreigner" in this forum, and I have a GREAT deal of respect for you ALL, just these openers that I have read you using come off as a bit... umm... whats the word? oh yeah, BAD.
Also are hard to translate to other languages.. Still I am not posting to bash you people, If I were a girl I'd so tap you all (Okay that's just wrong).

But I do have a question, most girls in my area are somewhat stuck-up and the openers you all advised won't work, I am 17 years old, and could really use a very witty and/or funny charming opener to begin with, a pickup line will also do..

The openers really work, Im a foreigner, I started 1 month ago I just a have hb8 blonde 18 years old date the other night + kiss close. The openers works, The problem is on how you deliver it. You need to practice your conversational skill. BTW im 23 and a nurse, So Im used to talk to people. Your still young. Keep on practicing. Be ready to crash and burn, coz this openers wont work on all women. I got crash and burn all the time. In this month alone. I think I got ditch a couple of times. People tends to get stronger from there mistake. just my 2 cents. - DARE

There are tons and tons of openers on this forum, there's actually a thread dedicated to them. And an opener is not a pickup line, never try to use pickup lines. An opener is just something to get the conversation going, pickup lines are supposed to be magical lines that make her wanna bone you instantly.
