Hi all, so here is the problem. I having some drinks with friends at one of my friends house, and i met this new girl(Lets call her y just for the convenience, and I caught her checking me out a few times so I took that as an IOI). Towards the end of the night, everyone went upstairs except for y and me. We started chatting up and everything was fine, somehow, she started talking to me about her ex boyfriends. Here comes my question, when girls talk to you about their ex-bfs, does that mean its an IOI? And I am having troubles on the transitions, how do you get to say k-close from a totally unrelated topics. Lastly, I obviously screwed up on the transition last night, however I did no.-close her. What would be the best thing to say to her on the first text.

When a girls begins talking about her ex boyfriends it usually means she didn't find you attractive any more during the conversation. She probably built you up to something in her head based on the way you were behaving with your buddies and you began treating her different(putting her on a pedestal).. I would say call her, save the texting for after you've established a rapport over the phone.. Don't be a little girl about it either and ask questions.. Call the girl.
