Obviously if you are having sex with a girl, you are not in the friend zone. But, is that the only criterion for whether you are in the friend zone or not? I mean where do you draw the line?

I guess my question stems for "Love Systems" conception of iNvestors vs. Testers. Girls who are iNvestors are always looking for the "one" boyfriend if they are single. On the other hand, Testers "test" out multiple guys before getting into a relationship. Testers often have multiple guys "orbiting" them but only sleeps with 1 or 2. So, assuming this theory is correct, are you still in the friend zone even if you've messed around with a girl (made out and felt up) but no sex? (I guess I should note the girl I'm referencing is super religious).

Friend zone means no sex, no kissing, no physical action at all. Friend zone basically means you're too ugly/geeky for her to fool around with, so if she's been physical with you, you're clearly not in the friend zone.

Interesting, I am in the same situation. Lets hear from the experienced PUA's!

I've known her for a while (1.5 years). When we first met, she had a huge crush on me, but I f**ked it up by not escalating and got in the friend zone. Then, she moved away for like 6 months. In the mean time, I built up my attraction skills and what not. So, when she moved back, I had much better game. She's in my class this semester. I invited her to watch a movie and we made out for a couple hours (this was 4 days ago). The only problem with this girl is that she's extremely popular (she's in like 3 huge social circles at my university), and hasn't really initiated any on the meetings.
