From interviews he seemingly invented the mystery method. Yes, he was a self confessed late bloomer who never had a gf till 21. However, his method evolved from a community of PUA's. How can one man come up with all of this??

Imagine you were the first man in history to try to come up with the magic formula to picking up women. You would be the Christopher Columbus of this PUA community right? Now, there will be times when you would hit a brick wall and say to yourself...'maybe skills can only take you so far', since there was no-one else to inspire him. Thus, I'm thinking there may be someone with just pure skills to inspire mystery or at least a PUA community practising it at the same time.

Mystery was not the first PUA. There were others before him. Like Ross Jefferies. But I know that people generally say that Mystery was driven by his frustration and having a scientific mind, he started to characterize a lot of mechanisms that then turend into the MM.

Imagine that you were the first man to be super motivated enough to want to invent a time machine to travel back through time. Imagine going at it for 10 years and hitting that brick wall and realizing to yourself that 'hey maybe its just a science fiction concept, you can't physically go back through time'. Likewise, think about it as you were the first person to attempt to fingure out a method for picking up women. However, imagine if you were inventing the time machine and you somehow knew that alien beings have already came up with a time machine themselves, how hopeful and resilient will you be? Same applies for my question of 'Who taught mystery his craft?' Was he the first person to motivationally come up with the mystery method.

I think he read a lot of psychology books, and social psychology... add that to a frustrated guy who has only 2 choices, try and keep trying, or commit suicide (I think Mystery has that mentality)
