Perhaps you are right lol :) But it obviously helps with the confidence, something this man has well 0 of.
If by confidence you mean "confidence that I'm good enough for this girl to kiss and love me", how am I supposed to be confident when I have ZERO experience with successfully getting with ANY girl? (Except really ugly ones who were only 'interested' because I was different by actually talking to them).
