What I have always done with my girlfriends is whenever they give me attitude I tell them "If you keep this up then I'm going home" and then if they keep it up I am true to my word and I go home until they call and beg me to come back or say they're sorry.

After the first couple of times you do this they know you are serious and they know that when you say enough is enough and put your foot down then that's that.

Of course if you did it every single argument it would lose affect after awhile but as long as they know your limit then they should be careful not to cross the line in the future. Or they know what will happen.

I wish I had some points to give you lol have been very helpful and I really appreicate your time especially saying let my guard down. Because I do need to don't get me wrong I do treat her well like buying her a surfboard for christmas taking her little sisters out and her single dad who getting old.
